Psalm 130
1A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.WEBA Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I have cried to you, Yahweh.
2Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.WEBLord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.
3If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?WEBIf you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
4But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.WEBBut there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.
5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.WEBI wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word.
6My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.WEBMy soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.
7Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.WEBIsrael, hope in Yahweh, for there is loving kindness with Yahweh. Abundant redemption is with him.
8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.WEBHe will redeem Israel from all their sins.
